And we're off...

Oblivion's crew moments before sailing.
Karen and Joe, the boat owners, proved popular with the locals at Harborview Marina.  While we were supposed to leave the slip by 5:30pm, it was delayed by nearly two hours by all the well-wishers and picture taking.  You’d think Karen and Joe were going into outer space…not Miami.  That being said, it was good to see how they would be missed in Baltimore as it was quite a bunch that turned out to bid them (and the rest of us) farewell.  In fact, whisky shots and a powerboat escort proved to be the protocol as we left the dock and made our way under the Key Bridge and out into the Chesapeake Bay.
